Community Outreach & Education
Helpline: 877-990-8595
Every year, Garden of Hope reaches out to over 10,000 community members, including potential victims, families, schools, faith communities, law enforcement, and social service providers through training, presentations, workshops, and community events. These public efforts strive to increase awareness about gender violence and improve prevention efforts in our communities. Our specialized staff, members, and advocates collaborate with various medical or social service professionals in order to maximize our efficacy to voice for Chinese immigrants. Topics we’ve covered so far including understanding how to protect yourself from domestic violence, sexual assault, human trafficking, bullying, and dating violence, etc.
