Anti-Asian Violence

Hate and violence have no place in our communities.

The drastic rise in anti-Asian hate violence and discrimination in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic and social unrest has caused stress, anxiety, and even trauma for many among us.

Garden of Hope is responding to the urgent unmet need for support against anti-Asian hate incidents by providing counseling and healing for those who have experienced hate incidents, legal aid, support groups, self-defense training, public education and awareness, and advocacy for government policies and aid that support the AAPI community.

    It is an immediate and short-term service to de-escalate a critical situation.

    It is to work within the legal system on behalf of our clients to advocate for their rights or needs.

    It is to provide care for the ones who are seeking help in dealing with issues that affect their lives. These issues can include personal problems of a behavioral, emotional, marital, vocational, or life-stage transition.
